As an organization of holistic,
metaphysical, and spiritual healers, teachers, and students, We, the
members and founders of the World Holistic Association pledge the
following:
To NOT refuse a client or student
solely based on his or her financial, sexual, or religious status,
country of origin, or for any reason that would be seen as a
violation of law or good conscience. We pledge to be public servants
answering to a Higher Good.
To not preach our practices, but
rather share them willingly and professionally with those who
genuinely want the services we provide,
To treat the client and student as
a whole person, professionally, compassionately, and with dignity.
To retain a client’s treatment
sessions and a student's training progress in strictest confidence,
To provide all knowledge that we
have to offer to those who want it in a way that is understandable
and effective,
To not mislead a client in
thinking that we can guarantee a cure, as in good conscience no
healer, traditional or alternative, can guarantee a cure for any
illness,
To not provide our services to
those who have not given us consent, as it violates free will and
goes against the core of Holistic and Spiritual work. Services can
not be performed for a 3rd party, nor can it work effectively on any
client who has not fully embraced the desire to become healthy
again.
To serve as role models by
preserving the ethical and spiritual components of Holistic health,
Reiki, and spiritual healing,
To continue to practice and train
in associated fields, knowing that learning is never complete,
To treat all practitioners with
honesty and gratitude, regardless of how they have treated us or how
they were trained,
To honor the religious and
spiritual faiths of our clients, even if they differ from our own
students,
To continue to work on ourselves,
as a good caregiver must first take care of oneself,
To live life daily according to
our principles, knowing that while we are not perfect, we can always
strive to be our very best.
